Gabe was beside himself with rage; everything seemed to be out of control. Actually, he was not just beside himself, no, it was much more than that. He had lost control, and if Gabe lost control, he could not think straight anymore. Not that he would have been particularly reasonable, but in his normal state of mind, he was a master to hatch cunning plots, and he was able to join the dots, but if something happened, just like his two prisoners trying to get away hitting the dust, his whole well thought through plan collapsed like a house of cards, his anger robbed him of the last bit of sanity. If this situation had taken place a year ago, he would probably have put the whole damned continent in ashes with a storm of incalculable proportions. Fortunately, he had no such powers anymore, which on the other hand was probably good for the inhabitants of North America, on the other hand, the fact that he was alone on his revenge campaign against Gregory was extremely dangerous for the immediate population in his environment. After all, he had no one at his side, who occasionally whispered at least some concerns about his actions in his ear. Which was perhaps down to the fact that his new subjects, with whom he surrounded himself lately, had no idea of the Akando story and therefore couldn’t understand why he wanted to get Gregory and everybody else getting in his way out of the picture. In the meantime, he somehow had lost track of his actions. From the moment he kidnapped Ryan out of some emotional act, the situation had gotten completely out of control and had no longer much to do with the original plan, which included to get in possession of the amulet, kill Gregory and bring the amulet to his cousin Matteo in London, who hadn’t been able to lay hands on it himself, with all his cunning and his contacts. Once he lay hands on the amulet, he’d go down in history as a hero, and all the Akandos, especially the Sicilian Vultures, who had mostly had no ability to control the elements in the past, would have gained these abilities at last, but hell no, he had messed it up, fell for that little bitch and lost sight of the big picture out of pure horniness. To all the rage he felt inside, he was also angry with himself. Why the hell did he want Leyla for himself? Just because she'd been with Gregory. Certainly one of the reasons, but she was so damn tempting, he wanted to lay her, to bang the shit of her, then it would have been over, this fever that had seized him. He felt the blood throbbing in his temples, but now he wanted only one thing, he wanted to strangle the bitch. That was almost as good as sex anyway. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
