After remaining in a state of shock for some time about the run of the events and a few setbacks, when the spectre of bankruptcy was circling above his head in all its glory, James moved to the district of Peckham into a real bad place which surely didn’t deserve to be called a Hotel. It was the kind of location, where a girl risked to be raped in broad daylight when she was at the wrong place in the wrong time. Fortunately, James was no girl, but the area was ruled by hopelessness. Gloomy characters strolled along the streets. Gangs and all sorts of criminals were in control. Over a short period of time James lived in this dangerous place in a dump, until he met Matteo. At first he thought Matteo was some third-rate gangster, a loser, that had drifted here from southern Italy.
